Caleb’s Prayer Foundation was formed to honor the memory of Caleb Hoggins of Chebanse, IL. Caleb died on May 12, 2014, at the age of 15, following his second battle with cancer. Caleb was known for his infectious laughter. He was a loving and caring young man who looked out for others. He loved to build with LEGO®s sets, listen to 80s music, and hang out with his family and friends. Caleb was a freshman at Central Highschool in Clifton, IL and had dreams of becoming a chef.

Since its formation in 2014, Caleb’s Prayer Foundation has donated over $65,000 to local families impacted by cancer. These donations have helped families to:

  • Move to a new home due to a low immune system.

  • Purchase gas cards and pay for hospital parking.

  • Pay utilities, rent, and mortgages.

  • Pay for funeral expenses.

  • Buy groceries.

  • Pay for hospital and medical costs.

  • Pay for school tuition.

Caleb’s Prayer Foundation’s main fundraiser is their Annual Benefit Car Show, which takes place in Bourbonnais, IL. They also hold an Annual Art & Craft fair to fundraise for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Chebanse, IL.
